I’m Owen Freeman, founder and operator of One Paddle Society. I was born and raised around the Black River in Lesterville, Missouri, with family ties to the area that go back generations.

I’ve spent a lifetime floating, on riverbanks, and occasionally remembering sunscreen. OPS brings that connection together with original merchandise, local discovery, and practical services for businesses.

OPS is rooted mainly in Lesterville and Annapolis. Listening to people who live, visit and work here shapes the guide, the original designs and the business services. No membership or purchase is needed to use the guide.

Nala handles any excuse to get in the water. Her position is secure.
