This notice describes the information used by this website and when you contact One Paddle Society.
Browsing the website
You can browse the public guide without a visitor account. OPS does not use advertising trackers or store site preferences in your browser. Directory filters work in your browser; the words and filters you choose can appear in the page address and browser history.
The hosting service may process technical request information such as your IP address, browser details and requested page to deliver and protect the website. Cloudflare may set a security cookie to help identify automated traffic. See Cloudflare’s cookie information. Do not put sensitive information in directory searches or page addresses.
Website visit analytics
We use Metricool to understand website visits, pages viewed and referral sources. Its tracker sends the page address (including search filters), referring page address when available, and browser window dimensions to Metricool. Like other external services, Metricool receives your IP address when your browser connects. Metricool states that its website tracker uses no cookies or browser storage, assigns no unique visitor identifiers and does not retain IP addresses. See Metricool’s explanation of its website tracker.
OPS does not pass inquiry form fields to the tracker. The website skips Metricool when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track preference. Browser privacy tools may also block it. Do not include sensitive information in page addresses or directory searches.
Contacting OPS
The business inquiry form asks for your name, business name, reply email, the kind of help you need and project details. A website or social-page link and deadline are optional. Any specific service you selected is included. When you submit, your details are sent to FormSubmit to process and email to hello@onepaddlesociety.com. Owen uses inquiries to respond and discuss the requested project. The form does not enroll you in marketing emails, and no automatic reply to your email address is configured. Owen also copies inquiry details into a private spreadsheet that only he accesses to keep track of requests and follow up. Please do not send passwords, payment card details or sensitive customer records.
FormSubmit states that it retains submissions for 30 days. Its privacy notice and submission documentation explain its handling. Form details remain only in the open page on your device while you are entering them; this website does not save drafts in browser storage. Closing or reloading the page may clear an unsent draft. A form confirmation means the delivery provider accepted the request, not that inbox receipt has been independently verified.
Direct email, call and text links remain available and open your chosen app. Nothing is sent through those links automatically. Your chosen provider also handles that communication under its own terms. Listing corrections continue to use email rather than the business inquiry form.
Merchandise
Merchandise is shown as concept previews. Orders and early access registration are not open. This website does not collect card details, shipping addresses or subscription submissions.
River readings
The homepage requests gauge data directly from the USGS when it opens or you refresh the reading. USGS receives ordinary technical request information, such as your IP address. OPS does not send your directory searches or contact details with that request. The reading is kept only in the current page, not saved in browser storage.
Other websites and directory information
Business, booking and map links take you to independent websites with their own privacy practices. OPS does not process their reservations or payments. Directory entries use public business information and corrections supplied by owners; private rental street addresses are not inferred.
Questions and corrections
Email hello@onepaddlesociety.com to ask about information you have shared or request a correction or deletion. OPS will review your request and explain what can be done, including any information needed for an ongoing project or required records.
